As a part of our services Cozumel Scuba Dogs offers you the amazing opportunity to snorkel with the biggest fish of the ocean in the seasonal months of July and August and the first weeks of September.

Just about three hours from Playa Del Carmen there is an enchanted island call Holbox, an old village of fishermans who just discovered a new way to make their income...guiding you as you snorkel along with big mantas and bigger whale sharks!

To get there we rent vans and drive you safely on a nice new road all the way to Chiquila the final frontier of North Quintana Roo, then we take a fast boat that will drop you off in front of your hotel if you decide to stay there for a night, or stright ahead to see these amazing creatures. Since it is just snorkel time we do not need surface interval so you can just plan this as a part of your day off diving and we´ll make sure it will not be boring at all!

It has become a tradition on our tour to depart the afternoon previous to your morning encounter. This is because we love seafood pizza for dinner and also the local guide tours reccomended to get off from the pier or your hotel in Holbox by 7:00 a.m. to ensure the ocean is calm and that there is enough time to enjoy the expedition before winds from the east blow over the sea.

We work in association with a local professional in Holbox with probably the best boats and the best crew in all the island just to ensure our reputation remains intact!

Please note: Available, JULY, AUGUST and first week of SEPTEMBER

As with any of our trips we have a minimun of four persons. The cost per person is 220 usd that will include transportation and the tour in a nice two engine fast boat with soft drinks, sandwiches, and purified water. If you want to take the easiest way and relax while sleeping in a hotel the night before, then we can reccomend you different hotels and rates which can go from 50 usd to 175 for extra luxury double occupancy in nice, clean hotels!

We need early confirmation (4 weeks or more in advance for those staying in Holbox and 2 weeks for same day trip). As with our other packages bring your group and get a discount or free spots!

• Doesn't include food and tips for tour guides.
• We highly reccomend you to bring a wet suit or rent one at the dive shop; the water is a little chilly. No need to bring fins and a mask as the operador provides equipment on board.
• Mosquito repelent is a must and extra cash for delicious food (almost all restaurants do not take plastic).
